There's at least one more season.

Per last week's podcast, apparently the 8 pm hour (EDT) will feature a slightly modified rerun of part one of "There's No Place Like Home," featuring different questions at the Oceanic Six press conference that deal with other details of the cover story.

I hope it ends with someone waking up from a dream.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

i only just got into it last season, and i'm following just fine...but i do think it'd be hard to catch up now. i'd recommend getting the dvds and catching up from the beginning if you wanna watch by next season! it's really good. (i may do that after it's all over just to see what i missed) but i'm not really any more lost than anyone would be right now!

well of course! (pubs are often named after famous people!)
i was just trying to figure out why they (Ben, Kate, Jack) were calling John Locke that, coz they all knew him as John, not Jeremy! it was just dumb for them to talk to each other about him by that name when they never had before! all to make you think some stranger was gonna be in the coffin!

Not dumb at all. It is part of the lie. Locke cannot be off of the Island under his own identity, because he, above all, requires that the truth about the Oceanic crash never be revealed. According to the lie, John Locke, along with everyone else, died in the crash. The survivors also have a stake in the lie, and therefore act to protect it with the official cover story.

Also, there was no way anyone thought it was a STRANGER in the coffin, as concealing the occupant's identity would then be of absolutely no consequence.
