I don't want to appear to be self indulgent but what the hell, here's a short vid of my latest foray into the hills.

"Because it's there"
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Lovely! Good film Dr. Cheese.
This is the most mountainous picture of Long Island I could find.

Ha ha Centerport. Ever notice that the mere mention of any Long Island town is funny? And there are millions of them, it seems. Whenever we drive back to L.I. the missus and I play "You come from..." It's basically a test of how many L.I. towns you can name. It goes like this:

"You come from Ronkonkoma."
"Oh yeah? Well you're from Centereach."
"Well at least I don't come from Baldwin like you do."
"You're from Islandia."
"You're from Eastport."
"Better than being from Port Jeff like you are."
"You're from Smithtown."

etc. and so on. It could go on forever without repeats.
"He was a mongoose, rather like a little cat in his fur and his tail, but quite like a weasel in his head and his habits."

What about the road names Jack? Skunk's Misery Road, Bread and Cheese Hollow Road, Sugar Toms Lane. Just a few of the good ones.

Hey Dr. Cheese,

I watched your video as I've seen some photos on your website previously. I just wanted to say w/out sounding like I'm kissing your butt that, you have a real connection & interest in nature. I think that's so great considering, most people are real dullards & are so wrapped up in their phoney technological lives.

What other places have you been to &/or explored? If you have not been to Iceland, I DEFINETLY recommend it...I have some photos of my trip (nature-related) if you're interested in seeing, PM me. I was told when I return to the UK this year (Sept. & Nov.) to go the Hadrian's Wall area. I'm considering it.

Have you ever been here to the States?

Not that I'm schmoozing again but, the connection I felt in Iceland (twice) & the appreciation of nature is what I hope you feel the same way too, about it all...
