So where's the watering hole gonna be?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

that's weird.......pit seats weren't even offered yet! (unless the venue did their pre-sale) not worth it. who wants to break their neck looking up from the pit?

I think Mac needs to take some voice lessons to adjust his new voice to the old songs. Seriously.

maybe they can drop tune all the guitars to fit with that new voice

I seriously hope he does get with a vocal coach before these Ocean Rain shows.

It did Frank Black and David Gahan wonders late in their careers and I expect Gahan did more damage to his voice than Mac ever could.

But I doubt Mac can admit he needs a bit of help. I'm still in shock he ever said (at being asked if he missed Will) "No I missed and me. And to be me I needed Will" or something very close to that.

If Mac did this, and I could hear the proof, I'd definitely do Radio City (public sale's this weekend, I think). But I wouldn't want to take the time off, and go to such a great expense to head across the country, to hear him croak through Thorn Of Crowns, or more embarassingly, drop it from the playlist altogether

It's possible a lot of the "good" seats haven't been made available yet.

This particular event has both a fan presale and a venue/promoter presale:

Internet Presale Info
FanClub:
Start:Sat, 04/26/08 12:00 PM EDT
End:Sat, 05/03/08 10:00 PM EDT

Venue / Promoter:
Start:Fri, 05/09/08 09:00 AM EDT
End:Fri, 05/09/08 09:00 PM EDT

With a lot of presales, the promoter and venue only allow a small fraction of the best seats to be sold.

They save the bulk of the best seating for the general public sale, which in this case doesn't begin until the 10th, I think.

I could be wrong on this but how are "pit" seats being sold at all; isn't the pit where the actual orchestra is going to be situated?

either it's a scam by touts  or maybe the orchestra is going to be onstage behind the bunnyboys? logistically, seems like it would be easier if the orchestra were in the pit, and then the stage setup between sets might take less time, but ...

i'm guessing they'll probably be onstage. usually for a play or something they'd probably be in the pit, but maybe they think it's riskier to be down there for a rock concert. (just a guess) i know i wouldn't want a bunch of moshing going on right next to my $10,000 bass cello (if i had one!)
