A lot of people are comparing the new song to Electrafixion and Evergreen stuff, which I can see, but one big problem I had with both Electrafixion and Evergreen is the production sucked (not counting the first Electrafixion EP). The drums on Evergreen were horrible, it had that lame classic rock sound to them, IMO. The Electrafixion album production was way too slick and over produced. It could've been way better.

The production on the new song is way better. Someone mentioned on the official site that the drums sort of sound like a drum machine. I can see that, in any case I think they sound really good. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album, hopefully it'll have the same sound and vibe. Kind of ironic when you look at who the producer has worked with in the past.

1st mezzanine, Section 500, Row E or something like that.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Been listening to the new single and given it some time but it's nothing memorable. I think Dr. Cheese was right. I can't even recall the tune in my head. It's pleasant, professionally done, alterna-pop with beyond bad lyrics and some really good guitar by Will. Kinda like how Stormy weather was saved by Will. But at the end of the day it's better than 80-90% of the stuff out there.

I still look forward to the new album. Based on the live tracks I thought Epic sounded better and should have been the lead single over "Think I Need It Too"
