drats! Have sold several tix that way out here. ah well. I'll just unload it ahead of time then.

What a marvelous school trip! Last time I was there was for a conference a few years ago. It rained, sleeted, snowed, and then got bitterly cold. And all in one day

Red, are you in the Orchestra or the Mezzanine?

I think the venue is holding all the really good seats for their own sale (Venue / Promoter: Start:Fri, 05/09/08 09:00 AM EDT End:Fri, 05/09/08 09:00 PM EDT) that's before the sale to the general public.

Very true. You never know what traffic or airports are going to be like. I learned this lesson the hardway for the Atlanta show. My plane was supposed to get in between 3- 4pm. Finally landed at 9pm took cab to venue and still missed beginning of show.

I guess the concept behind the fan pre-sale is to guarantee we get seats, presuming the event will be sold out. It's not to guarantee us great seats.

I may take a crack at the general sale and see if I can do better than these Row Q beauties.

orchestra. wish i were in the 1st mezzanine though, but i am sitting with blink and rusty and shaz and moonies and that's where they are located. i was in chicago when tix went on sale. i'm sure if i were buying one seat i could still get a decent one, but i didn't wanna wait until i got back from chicago to buy one and have to sit alone.

i also think the venue is saving the best seats for themselves....not fair! :-(

jack....don't give up your Q seat....we need someone close to the door to get the beers!

There's actually shared bathrooms in hotels?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

You can watch the dvd when it's released.

Seriously Jack, how did you end up with row Q? I got row J yesterday and row M was available as of this morning.

it's very random, I guess. The first one that came up for me saturday was in row CC, the next was in row R. I guess you just have to keep trying until you get something in the area you want. And try different combos of ticket price and seat location.

Excellent question! I clicked 'best available' at 12:00:01 the day of the sale.

I know. I tried every conceivable combination yesterday. At one point I got the third mezzanine, seats AAA. According to the seating chart those are the seats in the little part that clings to the wall. I figured I'd fall right out of those seats. Or drop something on someone's head.

Yeah, and he only started listening to Porcupine a few weeks ago. Where's the justice in that?
