Listen 2 Morrissey?

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

As much as I love the Smiths, I like Morrissey's solo work better. I consider Viva Hate, Bona Drag, Your Arsenal and Vauxhall and I to be bona fide classics. The rest of his albums seems to have 2-4 classics, some decent tunes and some filler but I think a lot of that has to do with his collaborators at the time. I thought he hit his stride when he teamed up with Alain Whyte and Boz Boorer though I think that has gone stale now.

Has anyone pissed away a once stellar career as badly as Johnny Marr?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Johnny Marr's kind of up and down career is a bit of a shame. Now it is teaching uni students and touring with The Cribs (whoever they are). His period as a producer seemed quite promising. I followed a UK indie band for a brief time in 2002 called Haven and he did a fairly good job producing their debut album Between The Senses.

Iggy on Dinah Shore. Love it

Saw Iggy in about 1980 or so. Quite a night -- a girl fight down front, and a guy crawled onstage and wouldn't let go of Iggy's leg
