Aye big night Tuesday Dave. You will score first; Baggies like to do it the hard way.

Tell me, why are all the pubs in the Black Country heavy metal gaffs?

Long Spinal Tap-esque story.Played a gig with Mansun on their second album tour then split up after the drummer sacked the singer.Normal melodrama for bands.

Did you give it the big one - or just bowed yer head and concentrated like Will?

Did any of the band have mannerisms?

And what was the group called?

Err..no.I'm more of mix of John Squire and Will!lol. No feet on foldback though.

No mannerisms.Just ugly.

Our place in history (unfortunately) is an interview with me in the Birmingham Evening Mail in the 'Hotpop with Carlos' column and a footnote in the Mansun gigography guide. The band name was Phonic(named before those welsh wallies became famous).

Drummed for Drugstore at Reading...

OH MY GOD! I know someone who knows someone who drummed for Drugstore. Now I know what it feels like to be Red...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

If you remember Drugstore did that song 'Kill the president'(I think??) with Thom Yorke.Anyway it went top 20 and they were asked to do Top of the Pops.So they rang up Thom Yorke at his house to ask if he would do it.His wife said 'you'll have to ring back because he's mowing the lawn'.See- even global protecting megastars have to mow the lawn in Oxford.

If your not interested why not just press the ignore button - thats what its for.

The fact that you have replied, twice, suggests that you just may just be interested and doth protest too much (as a certain writer once said).

Anyway, back to Drugstore...
