Les Miserables

I hate musicals, and I'm tired of seeing trailers for this. Not even my love of Hugh Jackman can get me to go, and I don't even think I'd see it if my very most beloved Gerard Butler was in it. I'd only go if I was trying to decide to eat a bullet and needed that extra boost of depression to get the job done, but since I'm so goshdarn perky and sunny and all, it's not gonna happen.

I got dragged along to see this the other week. My missus and 17yr old daughter were sobbing wrecks by the time it finished, it's fair to say it's not exactly light entertainment! The guy on the door was handing out tissues to people on the way in and again on the way out.
He had a very evil smile on his face for some reason.

I have no interest in seeing this either but I will probably end up watching it on DVD eventually. My wife likes musicals but she doesn't like period pieces so who knows.

Now, Star Trek Into Darkness...May 17th can't come soon enough.
