Using the same computer skills that allowed me (with a bit of extra hardware plugged in) to convert my computer into a time machine, I broke into the BOF despite being banned (it's great to bitch-slap a bully) but I don't know why I bothered because you can't say that sort of thing over there without your post disappearing in the night, a bit like the opposition in certain former South American dictatorships.
Also, though the flash introduction is not bad, it's let down by a monotonous song from The Fountain in the background (don't ask me which one, they all sound the same) and listening to it depressed me.
The only reason I posted there was to find out where to send a video of some new bands I made to Mac and Will, just to remind them what "guts and passion" really mean.
If Mac can't stay off the cigarettes, at best it will only be as good as the "Live In Liverpool" concert, as seen on DVD, which was OK but not outstanding.
More likely, on the first gig he'll sing one third of the songs before reaching the high notes makes his throat bleed, and then resort to spoken word songs and banter for the rest of the gig. Naturally the other gigs will be mysteriously cancelled.
Should I book a hotel and risk wasting my time and money when it could be better spent on following a band that would have beat them even in their prime?
I have been wrong in the past-I wrote them off after the WAYGTDWYL tour disaster but afterwards the Flowers tour was the best the thing they had ever done. But it's nearly a decade later. Do miracles happen twice?
