Official RCMH After-Party!!!!

Hey Guys,

I wanted to let you all know that I will be coordinating with the hosts of the official Radio City after-party, which will be held at The Beauty Bar, 231 E. 14th St. This event is invite only, and there should be a few familiar faces in attendance.

I want to give all of you the opportunity to make the after-party with me. The night before the after-party, Oct. 1st, I'll be doing another Echo tribute night at The Annex, 152 Orchard Street. From 11-12, I'll be spinning Echo & the Bunnymen and there will be an OPEN BAR. There is NO COVER. If you make it out to The Annex, we'll be giving out free passes to the VIP After-party.

So, this isn't one of those after partays where you gain entry via Peter's e-mailed flier/invites to bunnymen subscribers?

is this the party in place of Will's typical after-gig DJ set???

i won't be in NYC until the day of the show, so i can't make it to the Annex the night before. any chance you can put together a guest list of forum members who will be going to RCMH so we could all get in??

or maybe if we show a photo/printout of the mac-in-a-cape image... that could be our secret pass. :lol:

I think many of us won't be in until the day of the show. We'd love to join
ya at the After-Party, so maybe BF and Mr. Brian can get a bunch of passes
and give them out at the meet-up?

yeah I agree, many here won't be in NYC until the day of the show but there are at about 15 or so of us meeting up from this forum before the show, If black francis and I show up at the Annex the night before can we get a bunch of passes?

Also, can you clarify what makes this "official"

I'll give out as many passes as I can on Tuesday. If a few of you show up and need extras for your friends, I'll likely be able to make that happen. This After-party is official because it was apparently organized between the ownership of The Beauty Bar and someone from the Bunnymen camp. Though, I'm really on the fringe of all this, so, I don't know specifics. I do know it will be a blast and I was told that there will be special guests in attendance.

Thanks Jo. It looks like BF and I are likely in (pass up an open bar and no cover in NYC???) and will be trying to mooch some passes for some others who won't be able to come into town until the next day.

Yawn.

I detest these private hush hush VIP type of things. Getting in doesn't depend on a person's deservedness, but on who they know, or in this case jumping through hoops to get the Willie Wonka Golden Ticket.

I'd rather hang by the stage door for two hours after the show. Then I'd be certain to see a few "special guests."

Maybe if you wear a cape you can get in without the pass but we will do our best to guzzle all the free drinks just to get as many free passes as we can because BF and I love all of you that much.

If we have to use our rugged good looks, rock hard bodies and soulful eyes to get extra passes, so be it.

Any mention of an aftershow by the Bunnymen management?
