Do they get any royalties for these or have they been stitched up record label \ publishers ?

Absolutely no idea. Would depend on the nature of the publishing. I expect random covers on YouTube are zilch, official recordings you'd expect something unless there were advances against publishing that have r been fulfilled etc etc. Townshend was in mojo ir whatever recently going on about the mega deals and advances he got in the 80s had to be repaid when he decided it was all too much (I might be paraphrasing). All of which only goes to show having said I haven't a clue about something I can waffle in about it for ages. Sorry where were we?

Would you like some jam and cream with those waffles sir?
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'

in short........... also whether they have publishing rights. Didnt one michael jackson buy the rights to a hefty slice of beatles stuff? I mean I have no idea if he owned a joblot of bunnymen stuff.
Yes pleadse VB! In this day aand age etc we need all we can get.
OK thanks maybe all those re issues I keep buying (lost count how many copies of the 1st 4 Lp's I have brought in the past 38 years) will help keep their pension pots topped up
