I am going to Liverpool in the next couple of weeks near to Penny Lane. Can anyone recommend Cafe's or places of interest etc open during the day ? I think Will did an exhibition nearby a few years ago at a local gallery ?

Thanks

I think the Penny Lane Gallery where Will had his exhibition is now closed? Not 100% sure though.

Thanks, done the Tate a few times when I worked in Albert Dock. Not heading in to the centre so might have to make do with the Costa Coffee on the corner of Nicander road and avoid the cheesecake factory.

Costa Coffee is shite. This place sounds better: https://www.roughhandmade.co.uk/ but "It is definitely the best bakery in Liverpool, it’s a shame it’s moving on the 2nd of June 2018".

There's nothing worse than a long, rambling restaurant review.

No problem, Egon Kounelaki Ronay's descriptive scoring scale is wholly acceptable, that being 'yum yum', 'edible' and ''shite'.
