RIP David Bowie

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

RIP David Bowie.
Thanks for the music throughout the years.

(that's one way to get out of promoting your latest album
which was just released on his birthday 8th Jan)
The problem with self improvement is knowing when to quit.

Complete shock, didn't see that coming.

Mac will be gutted, we are all gutted.

Expect lots of Bowie references in the BUNNYMEN Setlist, more than ever.

Many people and artist can and will comment on the influence of David Bowie.
I remember a comment Roddy Frame made a few years back along the lines of "Growing up in East Kilbride in the early 70's everything was in black and white, then Bowie came along and suddenly everything was in colour"

Bowie was his own genre of music. He could change-up the sound but it was always Bowie. A true legend.

"The man who thrilled the world" I like that, a lot. Listening to his songs now, so so many good ones. This will take hours, what a bliss.

Mac seems to have been very quiet about this so far.
Not surprising ...
