I have to disagree strongly with lazarus, the new clips have made me more excited then ever for the new album. But I still don't like "Holy Moses" very much.

I'm with Joe on this. All sound promising, apart from Moses.

Is This A Breakdown is this album's Do You Know Who I am? Or something. So far, weak, weak Mac lyric, but without the funny of DYKWIA.

It depends on what you think a good song is. Is it the tune, the lyrics or a combination of both? I have this argument with my father in law. For him the lyrics are everything, even if the actual music is plain and boring. He makes me sit down and listen to the words of certain songs, but they bore me to tears. I always argue that if I want nice words then I can listen to a recitation of Burns, Keats, Wordsworth, etc. For me, the tune is more important, although I admit that silly lyrics can be annoying and do detract from the song to a certain extent. Anyway, the tunes emanating from this new album appear to be excellent. I, personally, don't worry too much about the lyrics, but. like everything, it's down to the individual.

I guess it depends on what kind of music you listen to.
Rock music could go either way. Sometimes the lyrics are nonsense and the delivery or melody is more important as another instrument in the mix. Other times it's the opposite.
In a lot of pop music the writer had a great chorus and then the verses are nothing but filler to get to the chorus again.
If you listen to folk music, traditional country, show tunes or something like that then the music takes a back seat to the story in the lyrics most of the time.

Can't judge the tunes yet, though the samples showed some of the songs in a different light. I think Will probably did a good job, even if he no longer considers the Bunnymen his creative outlet.

The album is shit. Lets face it nothing has changed.

Mac is still snowboarding down the table top and coming up for air thinking he is god, he aint he is a drug fuelled alcoholic tit.

No one in the music biz wants to work with him including Will, apart from his hired helpers he is at a lost.

Don't believe he is clean as he isn't, has never been.

Thank God. There was way too much positivity in the air.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Is that the album preview off Amazon?
