We had a catherine wheel a couple of years back. It's usually the last out of the box and almost always something of a pyrotechnic premature ejaculation though it was a bit more exciting last time as I'd nailed it on to the side of the wendy house a bit cock-eyed (fair play, it's not easy nailing a firework to the side of a miniature timber abode when you have a can of Red Stripe in one hand and a Senior Service in the other. Anyway the light display was the usual disappointment but there was some merriment as the flame caught the edge of the the aforementioned construction and caused (an albeit very minor) blaze.
Oh what an exciting life I lead.

I once set fire to the fence with a Catherine Wheel, it did the usual trick of sluggishly revolving a couple of times before stopping and subjecting the fence to it's high intensity jet of flame. Cue accusations of negligence and recriminations from 'er indoors. I blame Mac personally.

The Poltergeist album is a mixed bag. Some of the riffs do sound like they were taken straight from Electrafixion and Will's lover affair with 60's psychedelic/prog is getting a little out of control at this point. I think he might need some help.

pledge target reached and theres going to be a playback in the pool at the planetarium:

We have been planning a special playback of the New Glide Album if we reach our 100% target. The playback will be at the Liverpool Museum Planetarium, as the extremely kosmisch Planetarium projection show is going on. This will be a limited event, they only have 55 very comfy seats. We won’t be having a guest list so all seats will be up for grabs on a first come first served basis. The date is yet to be confirmed and the price will be cheap. We just want to cover the costs and have a groovy time. We are looking to have an after show in a local pub or somewhere that will let us play some Kraut Rock and have a wee party.

I had a listen to it last night, thought some of it was really good but a lot of it was self-indulgent bollocks in my opinion. I doubt it will get much iPod time here at Cheese Towers.

I sometimes think that rock music is not complex enough to be completely without vocals. Every time I hear any of this stuff I like it, but I keep waiting for a singer to come in.
