£150 for a poster? Wasn't me, honest.

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

I think this is the guy that I bought the Weird As Fish tape off of a few years ago. He was really nice and had a great selection of posters. If I recall correctly, back then he wanted £75-100/per poster. Thought that was ok being that new posters go for $15-20 ($100-130). £149 is a bit steep though.

He's got a few more nice Bunnymen posters up as well. Bit pricey for my pocket I'm afraid.

I remember seeing one a while back that was incredible. Had a design on it similar to Twombly's "Untitled I, 2005 (Bacchus)" but that one sold back then. Got around to it too late unfortunately.

I didn't, VB. I was told to never sell them and to always keep the Book of Pleasures painting. I think it's kind of like never selling your Damien Hirst's. :)

Always wondered how you can tell if posters are genuine and not copies?

They can't be hard to copy can they?

Can't be hard to copy but I guess it's the point of knowing you have an original vintage piece. I saw a couple of Paul's posters in person and they were authentic and not new reproductions.

Posted some that he sent me photos of from 2011. Not sure if they are still available or not:

I wanted to buy The Real People poster. The seller said he would send it to me (N.America), but then I couldn't bid on it because I was not in the UK. I asked the seller for some help, but got none. :fainting:
