Ian @ Belgium May 17 & 18

Postby voz » Sat May 18, 2013 10:10 am

Yesterday Ian performed accoustic at Vooruit in Ghent, Belgium. Today he wil be doing it in Leuven. Ian wa/is in great shape and really at ease. Gordy is with him on stage and is doing great also.

Ian had no sigarettes nor alcohol on stage, he drank only water, honeysirup and milk. His voice was good and steady. Because of the line-up of the evening the show was only about 1 hour. After the gig I spoke with Ian and he said he had prepared for about another 20 min. Today the show will be at full length.

Despite the short setlist, it felt real great to see the man is back to where he Always belonged.

I just put a video of Zimbo at Youtube. I hope to take another good one tonight at Leuven.

Thanks for that Voz. I really hope he maintains this.

Hope this can make it up a little bit for you (and all others): my wife took a video of the whole concert and I putted it on youtube. It starts at the back of the room, but at the end of Rescue, she is seated in the front and images are better.

Enjoy every minute!

After cheering and applauding for over 5 minutes, Ian and Gordy couldn't do other than reappearing on stage. They ran out of prepared songs and decided to do an accoustic version of The Cutter.

EPIC

Would love to see Mac & Broudie should that ever come around again. Those shows sounded really cool.
