The Walking Dead premiere :)

Now that I have been (somewhat) desensitized regarding zombies, I cannot wait for Sunday night. The thing that sucks hippo ass is the fact we are celebrating a gazillion October family birthdays at my house Sunday, so I will have to watch the Bills lose yet ANOTHER football game rather than getting pumped up for the season opener while participating in the WD marathon.

well maybe i can help you out..... those people will do stuff and at some point be suprised by slow walking zombies who they'll then kill and there'll be blood and body parts all over the place. someone will have sex with someone they're perhaps not supposed to and a little girl or boy will be stuck in a tree/cupboard/car whilst a boatload of undead people (or is that vampires, i get confused) walk by, occasionally stopping and sniffing the air to increase the tension and just in the nick of time andrew lincoln will appear wearing a big hat and say something in what us brits will wonder whether is a good american accent or not. cue titles. Is that the right series?

That's the one. There's also another Brit in the new series doing or not doing a dodgy American accent: David Morrissey as "The Governor".

despite what i say, lincoln and david morrissey are both top actors and worth watching (just about) anything they are in.

My daughter once called me to say she'd just seen andrew lincoln in a cafe and asked for his autograph - for her mum. How to kill a blokes ego, I suggested, but she said he was very nice and said that her mum probably knows him from 'this life' and put 'egg' in brackets. For you americans, thats not actually an egg, but his name in the series. Look it up on the yootube.

David Morrissey was in the superb 'One Summer' was he not? Remember being allowed to stay up late to watch that on Sunday nights, class.

Don't recall that TV series but will watch it as it's on youtube. Only thing I really know him from is Red Riding and U Be Dead.

Right series and fab accent. He never slips up ever. I did read ahead in the book, but the writers change things up a bit. Last night's show was brutal.....I had bad dreams and that was on top of the bad dreams I had the night before watching some of the marathon. I guess I'm not as desensitized as I thought. :frown:

Sounds great. The last series was so-so and dragged a bit until the last episode. I will look forward to series three being shown in the UK around May 2013 then.

Anyone watch Good Cop over here? Had to wait a couple of weeks for the last episode which was aired last night. I thought it was one of the best dramas we've had in a long while.

I'm an empty shell of a human with no Walking Dead, Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. I wish they'd take people who have absolutely no life into consideration when they're scheduling these things and make them overlap.

Have you met Malbert (Sweet Potato)? In the unlikely event that there is a significant break (anything up to five minutes) in her television viewing, SP simply fills the time by enlightening us with various titbits concerning the nether regions and the variety of foodstuffs that one may wish to insert therein.
