That's why Smithy doesn't want to go....isn't he a villa fan?
All this drunken scouser thing is an excuse. He knows his team will get hammered.

well a long time to go, as they say, but their present positions (neck and neck at 14th - 15th) would suggest thats not true, lol

Sorry Smithy, I do apologise.

LFC are in a false position, you'll see. They should have beat City and the way Utd somehow won at Anfield was just unfair and slightly bizarre seeing as liverpool battered them.

Man Utd should be investigated- I see Chris Foy, who did them the injustice of only allowing 4 minutes of injury time when they were getting beating at home, has now been given Accrington Stanley's (who are dey?) next home match. I quote "The 49-year-old was recently heavily criticised by Sir Alex Ferguson and has been selected to officiate the League Two clash between Accrington Stanley & Rochdale this weekend" (goal.com)

I'm sure that Mac would back me up on this.

And it's not sour grapes- I've hated Utd since the F.A cup final 1977.

only a casual footy observer but coming from leeds have many mates who would agree with the mispositioning of their team in and as part of the championship (not to mention div 1, or 3 as it used to be known), also incorrect ownership in that shiny shiny businessman, the nice mr bates. yes I said mr bates. Though obv pool and utd will agree with that sentiment to some extent I expect. Good win against everton the other week though.

I'd liked to see Leeds back where they belong. Proper football team.

Leeds and Liverpool were top First Division sides, and will soon be again.

Dave, do you not think the football in the championship more exiting? Not as glamorous, but a bit more real?

The main difference between the Championship and Premier League is the finishing. In the Prem we used to give 100% only to lose three nil from three great strikes.Plus we were all really punch drunk from keep losing in the Prem and just surviving. Its more honest in the Championship but cluttered with ex Prem teams of about the same standard

I have 2 x spare tickets for the above gig. It's usually a cracker and it's a great venue as well. If you want to buy the tickets at face value, please send me a message or contact me on (phone # deleted by admin) and we can arrange a payment method. Pay Pal is good.

It's not a good idea putting your phone number on display, I'd suggest removing it and getting anyone that's interested to pm you for contact details.
