Game of Thrones Season Two

New season starts Sun. on HBO. I started out not being very impressed with this series (frankly, I was bored), but now I'm freakishly fanatic about it. Don't bother me while it's on unless you're bleeding.

I just finished the second book of the series, A Clash of Kings. Can't wait to see it on the telly!

Who is your fave character, Mal?

Mine is Jon Snow!

I'm a big fan (no pun intended) of Tyrion and a huge fan of Peter Dinklage in general.

Tyrion is the best character, no question. In later books Jaime ranks up there with him.

(I guess with these books, revealing that someone is still alive in later books qualifies as a spoiler. Sorry.)

Tyrion, the Imp. He is quite a lady's man.

I cannot get over the sex in that show! ( yes, I am a prude).

I also like Daneary's story. The dragon's are cool and add to the magic!

The sex...I know! I'm not a prude, but how does anyone get laid with all that dirt on them?! Personal hygiene is very important, IMO. And there is no way the Lannister brother and stster have a genetically normal kid after banging each other. That's just a whole bowl of wrong on all counts (but makes for a great story line!)

Oh, that little prick Joffery! If someone kills him off this season, G of T will be my favorite show EVAH! Tyrion's sarcasm gets better and better evey episode.

Viewers were introduced to some major characters last night.

Melisandre, for one. I don't recall if we had met Stannis Baratheon last season, or Davos Seaworth, but they were promently featured as well. Craster's keep looked exactly how I imaged it, but Craster doesn't look quite creepy enough.

More naked prostitutes please.

Craster looked better than I thought he would. He does need to be a bit more slimey. Melisandre is EVIL!

Naked prostitutes? I guess. whatever turns your crank!

Actually, Melisandra, while somewhat misguided, may be the real good guy in this whole thing. She understands the true global threat better than just about anyone.

One of the worst writers I've ever come across.

Stannis was only mentioned but not seen last season, and they introduced the other territory, Dragon something (that was new, right? I don't remember seeing it during the theme song opening last season).

Was this in a public place? Did he press charges?
