I played Curvature of the Earth last week.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Yeah but that would have been prompted by this thread/Wills new release. Most of his solo stuff sounds like songs without a singer rather than a cinematic journey into time and space.

Actually it comes from withahip and his incessant "so what do you think of Curvature of the Earth?"

He really, really likes that album and won't rest until we all do.

You're entitled to your wrong opinion, Dave.

Most of Mac's solo stuff sounds like songs without a guitarist.

i agree with girlwithnoname’s post. guess it all depends on your personal depth on whether or not the songs take you on a personal journey.

there have been times when i’ve played his albums all the way through or have picked out some selected tunes like ‘favo(u)rite branches’ or ‘valentina tereshkova.’ they are really beautiful.

I only wish I had Space Age Freakout--I went about trying to find it and didn't. Perhaps I should look again?
