Wild Flag

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I've been listening to some tracks, and the jury is still out. I love Sleater-Kinney, and you can definitely hear Carrie's guitar, but I don't know yet. I think I need to see them live. And ask Carrie on a date, too. ;-)

I hate Sleater Kinney so I don't need to watch this, right?

I love Sleater-Kinney despite being overrated simply because they have vaginas.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

This is true and also how I feel. They were definitely fun live. However, there was a band based out of San Francisco about 10 years ago (Glitter Mini 9) that kept getting compared to S-K, and I thought they were better. They unfortunately broke up. True story: Mr. Noname saw this band and caught the eye of one of the guitarists, who smiled at him. He giggled telling me this story. What a groupie.

The only thing I liked about that song/ video was the hot pink Volvo; I'm going to make an appointment to get a paint job for my Acadia. The music is pretty good, but why do these people think they can sing? She's awful.

Carrie Brownstein is fully aware of her vocal limitations. She used to contribute as an occasional columnist to NPR's music section. I personally think the DIY attitude is great--if you don't like it you don't have to listen. She's still having fun! ;)
