I was able to see Green Day for free at some political rally in front of San Francisco's City Hall several years ago now. While I'm not a fan of Green Day, I will say that Billie Joe is quite the excellent showman. I had fun in spite of myself.

Another tidbit: my ex-boyfriend went to high school with Green Day's drummer, Tre Cool--they were in the same year.
