Fucking Porcupine

Just when I'm ready to write the Bunnymen off for good I throw on Porcupine for old times sake and remember what made the band so thrilling. Nobody makes charging music like this today.

Goddamn the entire album is amazing but specifically I dare anyone to find a better six song opening than:

"The Cutter"
"The Back of Love"
"My White Devil"
"Clay"
"Porcupine"
"Heads Will Roll"

Good luck.

I would definitely find the energy for a Porcupine tour and I would personally set up the L.A. VT meetup.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

It's kind of interesting that the album leads off with the two singles back to back.

Every time I hear Porcupine these days, I think - why couldn't they have made another album like this? Maybe it took too much of a toll on the band, but it would've been great if they had attempted another "artsy" album.

It blows my mind that the same singer off that album went on to do a video with the Spice Girls and is now a pop star wannabe.

BF, I'm a huge Collective Soul fan, and their "Disciplined Breakdown" is my favorite album of theirs. It's several years old (maybe 10 even), but still gives a kick when I play it. But if you don't like them, then ignore everything I just said....

How about no?

I think I have it on my work computer so let me go listen first before I say no. I wanna give the impression of being fair and stuff.

It's probably my least favorite of the first four, but it's still a masterpiece!!
