Sorry to keep you waiting, just got back last night. Absolutely brilliant, full on energetic performance from start to finish, as you would expect from them. Warren's amp blew at first song. The Barras was packed and some good banter with the crowd. Warren wanted to take some woman from the front home with him as a good excuse to get a divorce. Heathen Child was dedicated to Alex Harvey, who Nick said he 1st heard when he was 14 and it 'changed his life, not necessarily for the better'. The set was mostly Grinderman 2 along with No Pussy Blues, Honey Bee, Get It On and Grinderman that I can remember. When they introduced Palaces of Montezuma someone asked if it was for Warren, so Nick said it was To Warren, For Warren and about Warren

However, Cave seemed to dismiss the comparisons during Grinderman's show at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Friday (October 1).

Speaking before playing 'Palaces Of Montezuma', Cave told the crowd he'd been sued by a "17-year-old from Dundee" before jokingly denying the claims and declaring "I wrote it for my wife," while pointing at bearded drummer Jim Sclavunos.
