I got an email from gigsandtours.com about two hours before he announced it. I'm suspect that was his source too.

Is anyone still excited about these shows? I'm decidedly less enthusiastic than just a few months ago.

Or have they all gone by already?

Hi FC, can you please advise me? I've bought tickets for the Liverpool show but was wondering if you could assist me in planning and timing my excitement. Would the first day of December be too early to start getting excited? My ticket is for the first of the Liverpool shows (Saturday) so I wouldn't want an inappropriately low level of excitement, neither would I want premature excitement to recede before the show.

I am also going to Mac's gig a week later. Is there any point considering getting excited about that one in advance, or should I just wait and see what I get?

athough i wouldn't feel qualified to suggest anything for the mac gig apart from getting off your face so that (a) youre not the only sober one and (b) you'll be able to ride the inevitable car crash moments convincing yourself its top entertainment.

Personally, I'll be like the band when I see Crocs/HUH in their full entirety. I will be going through the motions - just turning up, watching and then going home. The same way the band will turn up, perform and then go home.

To be fair, they will being going back to a hotel, not home.

I don't know, I suppose if you are in a band you'd call anywhere home what with the constant travelling. Hotels, caravans, brothels, B&Bs, cardboard box under a bridge. I live in a shoe box, what with current UK house prices and that cost me an arm and a leg and I have a mortgage 3,000 times my salary. Nice but not much space I'm afraid.

Home is where the dealer brings you your coke.

I forgot coke dens. Always nice place to live, even if it is a bit overload of the tins and bottles,

Speaking of Coke dens I was fooling around on the internet and found this comment regarding Reverberation here

http://popdose.com/lost-in-the-90s-echo-the-bunnymen/

Maybe Will & Les should have called the project something else, but the album is brilliant. I'd like to think it gave Ian a good kick in the ass and a reason to put down the coke straw for 5 minutes and consider his legacy...

Dr. Evil you're not posting as Jeffrey Prosser are you?
