Ian singled out a few people and insulted them regularly. The bearded guy in the front row got it a few songs into the show. When the guy answered him Ian said "Where you from?" The guy answers "Glasgow." "Really?" asks Ian. The guy says yes and Ian says, "Bullshit you're from Glasgow, more like a suburb of Glasgow." Not terribly insulting but not particularly hospitable considering the guy has Ian's lyrics tatooed on his arm...

So the incident that happened a few years ago that went to court, that was in Glasgow. In this new one in Connecticut, the fan was from Glasgow? Is this right?

Well this is the most exciting news in Bunny land for a while.

Ian can get outraged easily and is known to be aggressive.

I have seen him once almost come to blows and in his defence he was acting most chivalrously.

This incident however is very sad indeed.

Lead singer abuses fan who has tattoo of his lyrics.
Also calls a female fan a c#*t.

Fan with tattoo then attacks lead singer on stage.

This is almost newsworthy stuff except Ian looks like a fool.

In such close proximity to the audience words are going to be exchanged.
Ian should be a lot more seasoned and thick skinned in dealing with crowds.
Maybe he should of asked security to deal with annoying fans instead of taking action himself.

Once again behaviour like this from a 50 year old man is just embarrassing.

I witnessed him jump to a womans defence and he obviously wanted to punch the guy but it was quickly diffused.

There are various stories of ian getting into altercations though.

He is one moment shy and the next he is Narcissus.
