Excellent recording even though Mac's voice was a little rough. However that made songs like Scissors in the Sand sound that much tougher. I added The Killing Moon from the San Diego show a couple of nights later to show the difference. I heard Mac 's voice was in better shape then.

I very much enjoyed this set list.

Going Up
Show of Strength
Stormy Weather
The Disease
Scissors in the Sand
Back of Love
Villiers Terrace
Of a Life
Rescue
The Cutter
Nothing Lasts Forever
Lips Like Sugar
The Killing Moon (San Diego HOB)

If I remember correctly this was the only SoCal show they didn't play Ocean Rain.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

And I remember watching this show and loving Mac more for it. Even though his voice wasn't at it's best I never got the sense he phoned it in. Still seemed to me he meant every word of what he sang.

Is this the show he goes off on some guy in the audience? That was great to hear; I hope in person it was even better.

It's frustrating to hear him struggle to sing when his voice is so shot. You can hear when he pushes to overcome the shortcoming. Imagine how fabulous the voice would soar if he didn't always have a sore throat and bronchial problems!

I think it was the show that happened. The cool thing about the recording is you can hear Mac crystal clear. I'll have to go over it again.
