Thanks jimbo. Even if it is similar to the commercially released album it will still be an interesting listen.

Much appreciated.

Also to be fair there is virtually very little difference in the mix.........

Yip.... Sounds like it....

You can really only tell the difference listening to it through headphones where you pick up the subtle differences, so where di you get your copy......

The Avalanche CD is worth the money for the superb version of Baseball Bill. I will not be selling mine for any price.

I have the copy purchased from the website when Frank was running it.

Still love the song "Avalanche"

Shame the sound on that is so muddy.

Looks like the same one that was on there a month or so ago that did not sell and had no bids at all. I was in the process of putting my copy on e-bay but then saw that one and thought I'd hold off to see how it did. Maybe the earlier £102+ copy was an oddity and won't be repeated again.

It seems like when the Bunnymen are less active it's a buyers market but when they are on tour, new album, etc it's a sellers market for items like this.

For those who can't access the iPlayer:

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qTgUEcNHL-c?fs=1&amp;hl=fr_FR"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qTgUEcNHL-c?fs=1&amp;hl=fr_FR" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Sounds pretty naff on first listen.

I bet it will end up as a single, which will suit Mac in his quest for the golden fleece that the kid's want. But it really is a bloody awful typical Manics song.

I've largely managed to avoid the Manics until now but have just listened to that video. They really are piss poor aren't they, even a diversion into 'Never Stop' didn't save it. Mac (even on a bad day) is in a different league to that shower. I wish he'd ditch the Jack Duckworth jacket though.
