It's All Over Now (Baby Blue)
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

They covered it on Avalanche but it's more like the Van Morrison version than Dylan's.

they refer to it as 'chocolate watch band version'. one of fuzz's obsessions. the gothenburg, radio karen or whatever, version is much better.

Ultimate funeral song though is The Pogues' Sally MacLennane.
(Far away) sad to say I must be on my way
So buy me beer and whiskey 'cause I'm going far away (far away)
I'd like to think of me returning when I can
To the greatest little boozer and to Sally MacLennane

you missed the 'Some people they are scared to croak but Jimmy drank until he choked' line. that'll be comforting for the kids. perhaps it should just be read out instead of that 'stop the clocks' thing. v funny interview/Q&A with shane in one of the dad rock mags this week.

Yup. Mac is really into it.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

I was going to post the "scared to croak" part, but then I may as well have posted the entire song...

What mag is the Shane Q&A thing in?
