Send them a Spanish Fig for their impudence. :) Tell them it's also from me and John Webster. ;)

I went to the front page of the bunnymen website, but nothing, and of course, there's no more news updates on the forum. Oh, I wonder what it would be like if a real webmaster ran the site. One can dream, can't they?

I expect the webmaster of the Bunnymen official forum has defected from his own site and is too busy reading this one to bother with it.

Is that some new crazy cleansing/weight loss system? Count me in.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

That'll learn you to behave yourself. And one more for making fun of Ian--pointy boots and mum's scarf included in the mix. And fig sugar to make it all go down. ;)

Me too, but won't confirm as don't see the point of getting e-mails from Bunnymen.com. I follow Will on Twitter, as I do the Bunnymen (which will repeat anything on the mailing list anyway - as they will no doubt do on Facebook), but his news is the only thing I'm really interested in at the present.

Even before social media like Facebook and Twitter became so popular it seems like all the good news leaked out via the BOF or even here beforehand. I think it had to be super official before the e-mail went out. The only reason I can see to be on the e-mail list is if you are not on Facebook or Twitter.

I'm part of the antisocial media movement. Not on either.

I don't understand the resistance people have to social media who are clearly already online. You can be as private or public as you want. There are a lot of people in my past I am glad to have rekindled relationships with after we lost touch because of moving, jobs, family, etc.

My high school years were not happy ones, and I have no contact with anyone from that time in my life. I've always had a small circle of friends who know me very well rather than a large group who only know me a little. I'm in contact with the people I want to be in contact with, but overall, I'm very private and don't see anyone wanting to make a fuss about the fact that I "Just had a fab lunch with some girlfriends." or whatever.

My relationship with Brian, once kindled by social media, grew to become the raging fire that it is today.
