Paul Simpson interview (mentioning Les & Will) coming so

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

And one that he actually likes at that--something he always thought about doing. He'll have a nice pension when he retires at 80 or so. He could be teaching bass on the side if he wanted to.

Agreed. Many times the bass made the song--more than I can count. But you all know that. What he wrote made the songs work or was even the foundation--like with Bedbugs and Ballyhoo. He wasn't the most funktastic bass player or anything, but just outrageously distinctively good at what he did. As long as he and Will are still mates, I'll manage. As long as he is playing bass for someone, I think I'll be OK.

But I'm still miffed about the Go Penguin.

so have you been distraught for the last ten years or so. I wonder if he could feel your pain and it was that that brought him back.

What, "subtle humour", here on VT? Surely not.

No humor. I meant what I said. Having a career outside of music gives him the freedom to say yes or no to playing music.

I understand Mac and Will not wanting to quit. I mean really what's Mac gonna do? Flip burgers? They should really give the NIN internet model a try see if they don't make a few extra bucks.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

So, what happened with this? Is the interview out there and you forgot to boast--I mean tell us about it.

To do something like that, they would have to get rid of everyone currently calling themselves "management", I think.

Been busy. Brain like sieve from severe stress. When I got to the motorcycles part, I realized I had read it before.
