Interview with Les

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

I was at the first of the July gigs at Static and Will and Les both seemed really at ease, no popstar crap, just into the performance. It was magnificent. I'm not saying the Bunnymen are no longer special, they always will be, but maybe that time has passed for Les and is is just great to see him back on stage and enjoying himself. December 11th should not be missed.

I wish. My current fantasy is to visit the UK.
I long for the pork of Porcupine. (A slide show dedicated mostly to Will right here.... http://www.examiner.com/rock-music-in-l ... -here-tour)

You need to dream a little bigger.

Jack, it's that shit attitude of yours that got you uninvited from the UK.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Hey, don't be hard on yourself, it's pretty good for a passport photo.

He also said he has an image issue with being an old rock-n-roller. I mean, if he had the energy to go at it with Mac, things might have been different, but it's all in a backdrop of some fairly stressful family issues. Child custody is fairly serious and if he had fought for full custody, running around on tour is not the way to keep it. Also, he obviously loved him mum. He's possibly going to get some kind of pension from having been a boat builder and who would want to lose that at this point? The guy seems practical to the core--except for acting like a dog on occasion.

Les is nuts in a cool way.

Definitely the guy you want to tell you some stories. But, maybe not bite you on the knee.
