It's football to me. But it was so named before my family became American.

I've never understood why American football is called that since the "foot"ball rarely connects with anyone's feet.

There's a reason it's called football (which is the greatest sport currently known to mankind). From Wikipedia:

"Primitive forms of rugby, then all covered by the name "football", were being played in the USA as far back as the 1840s, at Harvard, Yale and Princeton, stemming partly from Americans who had been educated in English schools. The history of American football can be traced to early versions of rugby football and association football (called soccer in the United States). Both games have their origins in varieties of football played in the United Kingdom in the mid-19th century, in which a ball is kicked at a goal and/or run over a line."

I knew I neglected to mention the Duchess. Seriously, right now Porcupine is my total favorite album. Listening to Bluer Skies right now and just might have to listen to My White Devil.

How about some parts of the Bible as literature since he mentioned converting to Catholicism.

He might have them read bits of his new book, Silverfish which is based on the life of an absolute genius. And his next will be called "101 Ways Bono is Insane".

I think we've got a really difficult course for these kids!

I saw him do this and I guess whoever was in charge of the lights wasn't paying attention and you could see Mac was getting a bit pissed and kept "shooting" the same light till it finally went out.
