Oh, the irony

The Bunnymen are playing the Nokia Theatre (capacity: 7,100) on the 24th. The next day, U2 plays the Rose Bowl (capacity 96,000 or so).

That said, anybody going to the L.A. Bunnymen show besides me and Insane Jane?

So, as usual, The Bunnymen come first and Bono and his crew will follow.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Actually, the fact that the Bunnymen have sabotaged their career, so play in relatively intimate venues, should be a cause for celebration. With stadium rock you might just as well watch the band on television-and in the unlikely event that you are at the front the amplification will be very unpleasant.
