When I saw Mac solo in 2003 one of his plug ins on stage had Electrafixion written on it in black permanent marker. Gave me a little thrill.

Just listened to it in the car yesterday. It is still brilliant Mac was on highest form!!!!
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Electrafixion was the Bunnymen on steroids. Very powerful at best, strained and a bit too macho at times. Along with Reverberation it makes up a third of my favourite Bunnymen related music. What kind of band is it that refuses to play two thirds of their most powerful material?
