two out of three teenage daughters of mine think its top stuff and that the latest film is much better than the last one. the only one i really liked was the one with timothy spall turning into a rat (or was it the other way round) and has ian brown stirring a cup of tea without touching the spoon somewhere in the opening scenes.

I slogged through the first book, but couldn't make it any further. Hubby loves them, though.
