Very amusing. In Ian's defense, he still can do the vocals better than Matt. In Plankton's defense, at least they are out there playing gigs on a regular basis. The crowd was into it!

Sounds like a nice title for a compilation album. Totally agree though, bloody terrible cover.

Pulp did a song called "Bad Cover Version" on their final album "We Love Life".


Trying to think of some others... Coldplay "Lips Like Sugar" was bloody awful. Seal's version of the same song was naff as well as it still retained the Will guitar bits sampled or redone by somebody else as well as a steel drum sample replacing the keyboards. Topped off by some Rasta rapping in the middle.

Hah! I've just watched it to the end. The singing was bad enough but the bit where the Mamas and the Papas start dancing takes it to another level completely. :eek:

i really like when he says the inca line and then screams - "do you see any indians around here" --- thats a tough tune to cover! believe me i tried... that guy rules!
