What's for breakfast?

Postby Frank The Bunny » Sun May 24, 2009 10:31 am

What's your idea of the perfect breakfast?

I can't decide between:
Chicken-fried steak with peppered gravy, eggs (over easy), biscuits and hash browns
Thick-sliced bacon (4-5 pieces), eggs (over easy), rye toast and hash browns
Corned beef hash, eggs (over easy), english muffin and hash browns.

All of the above would ideally be accompanied with coffee (free refills) and vodka with cranberry juice

Any other ideas out there?

Bloodyhell, no wonder you lot are such bloaters.

I usually have porridge (oatmeal?) made with half rice milk and half soya milk with a banana chopped into it washed down with peppermint green tea.

You are doing ok - only the US, Mexico and New Zealand have a fatter population than England's.
And you are the fattest people in Western Europe!

Chin up! Chin up!

Corned beef hash, definitely.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Do you go through the whole this one's too hot, this one's too cold, this one's just right routine every morning?

I say you fellows, here's me on my day off just popping out to buy the Times before repairing to my apartment where my butler will iron it for me (the Times that is) before we both sing a rousing chorus of God Save The Queen and then sit down for afternoon tea and muffins with my favourite great aunt. Pip pip and toodle-oo.

Some days it's porridge and juice followed by toast and tea, others it's a fry-up of tattie scones, tomatoes and mushrooms.
There's times when I've been deeply indifferent

What's a tattie scone? And you fry scones ... not just slather them in butter and strawberry or peach preserves?

You can't go wrong with sausage links, biscuits and cream gravy, scrambled eggs and hash browns. Tho scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and garlic cheese grits are mighty fine too. Or perhaps a breakfast burrito.

I could eat biscuits and gravy every day if I still lived with my mom but sadly I left home, married and settle for cold cereal or oatmeal if I eat at all.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
