Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Some people are in serious moral and emotional pain, like they killed a loved one, it's crazy. They drone on and on about it for pages. Like it or not, at least they've set the precedent that things are not going to be the way you expect them.

Must be these two...

I love the authentic Vulcan mullet and facial hair.

Kind of Spoilers

Saw it on the Imax.

Great!

They should have changed up the cast long ago - the way they do Jame Bond.

What is it with hardcore fans of anything wanting to see a repeat of the original whatever over and over?

I am a big X-Men fan (well as big as I can be not having read the comic for 20 yrs) - the last thing I want to see is the comic book identical.

So with Star Trek - good for changing it. I loved Scotty. Almost hate the little R2D2 alien friend - borderline Ewok.

Spock Prime - I think the time travel thing has been pretty well tread in Star Trek - remember the Star Trek Whale 2.0? Maybe it was passing the torch - but they passed that smoking ember during Generations The Movie.

The Sulu sword fighting - clever! A little more than just fencing.

+++++++++++++++++++

I am ready for a non big fight ending in a big budget movie. I don't mean a Willy Wonka Scotty in the water tube for an ending - but is there another ending than blowing up the Death Star in Hollywood?

Thanks for the heads up Dr. Cheese, me and the kids are gonna give this a go tonight. I'm hoping to see Debbie Gibsons boobies myself.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I wouldn't bother, I've seen it - I was hoping for great things but came away a bit disappointed, there are a few laugh out loud moments as the acting reaches new depths of atrociousness but overall it's not even in the "so bad it's good" catagory.
You don't get to see Debbie Gibsons boobies either.
And you know that I'll pick up

Just to thank you one more time

Come on a shark jumping out of the water to snatch a passenger jet liner? That alone justifies the movie's existence.

My kid was pissed that mega shark died though. I promised him he'd be back for the sequel and so would we.

According to Dr. Cheese you weren't going to enjoy it anyway. You should be thanking me.
