Just listening to the live version as performed by the Bunnymen and it's a damned sight better than the Mac solo version. But that's not saying much cause the solo version sounds like an Enya song.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

The Bunnymen version is kind of a mixed bag for me. Kinda cool, kinda sucky. I like the music in the chorus. I'm surprised they actually played it live because it seemed like it was a work in progress.

Then it turned into what we got on Candleland.

A third rate Enya song.

I heard the Japanese import had a Celtic Woman mix that was pretty killer.

Bunnymen version, solo (egads) or both?

Yes, which version? The solo version is torturous to listen to.

I think the EATB version is a case of at the time it didnt sound that good but now sounds a much better bet than 'whatever you want, whatever you did.....' and that plinky plonky piano on 'Epic'.
