It's a bit tortured, but toward the middle there is a break when Will does some beautiful guitar. If the Bunnymen found something more melodic to put it in, they could recycle this passage without people turning off before they get to it.
Or maybe they could take the good bits out of "Who's been Sleeping in my head" and mix it up with the good bits of "Mirrorball" and "Hit by Something."

Why not? UNKLE is making a career out of recycling their stuff.

There was loads of Electrafixion stuff that they could have used again or adapted over the last 12 years. For example, imagine how fitting a recent Bunnymen album like Siberia would have been with the Holy Grail at the end with a slight variation to the arrangement as well as an orchestra playing along. Instead, we got What If We Are? A re-recording and retitle of Land Of The Dying Sun or Burned would have been nice. Pinching the opening instrumental percussion bit to Bed of Nails to incorporate into a full track. Some very overlooked material that sounded pretty more close to the Bunnymen 80s era per se.

the version on the zephyr ep has a slightly different bit in the middle that is better than the album version. Is that the one you mean. I often wonder of will slips a bit in from the reverberation sessions just to see if mac recognises it.

I have the Electrafixion\Zephyr\b-sides double album, so I'll have to check. Razors Edge is pure Bunnymen brilliance on the album-it's a shame few people will know how good some of the songs are on it.

Can someone put that up?
I have Burned and that's about it.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

The breaks in both versions are really cool. Definitely one of the highlights of Burned.
