amazing how many bands i ignore the first time around bcuz of their name.

Missed that they are on Kranky label so that is a cue I might like them, and I do. Noisy shoegaze. Spacemen 3 and 4 AD on lo-fi.

Ha! I do that too and then remind myself of what I thought when I first heard of "Echo and the Bunnymen" and "The Flaming Lips".

They are ok - but not as good as I thought they'd be with the number of article about them out there.

And I thought I was late to the Deerhunter party.

I really like the Microcastle album.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
