Just picked up Ride's compilation "Waves" and it was a nice reminder of how amazing they were and how fast it all went to shit. But fuck they were great for a while.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

The debut album is great.Vapour Trail is one of the best songs of that era.Slowdive better though.

Not much compares to Slowdive in my book. Love Mojave 3 as well.

Its an Andy Bell song with him singing.Yes thats Andy Bell who now plays root note bass for Beatles tribute band Oasis.Try Hurricane #1's first single as well.album rubbish though.

Rock stars need to eat, too. Beats driving a cab I bet. And he probably has more time to work on that big Ride comeback album.

I doubt it.Gardner/Bell hate each other. I saw Gardner and Loz the drummer's comeback band a few years ago and they werent good at all.They lasted about 12 months.
