I haven't been this cold in L.A. since I got here. Fucking snow everywhere. Last year there was snow on the 210 (Pasadena area) freeway. The mountains are covered in snow (which looks pretty cool) coworkers can't get to work cause their local freeways are closed.
I made a passing joke to my commie friend at work about global warming and he said it was the unpredictable nature of global warming that was causing the cold. I mean how can you argue against that? If it's hot it's global warming and if it's ass cold it's global warming? If it can't be predicted then how can you prove or disprove it? There's something fishy about this whole global warming stuff.
I'm all for conserving, recycling and all that crap and I even got rid of my beloved Chevy Tahoe (just climbing in added two inches) in favor of a smaller, more economical Honda but I'm not going to live like it's Stone Age or buy carbon credits from Al Gore.

That's weird, we posted Global Warming stories with the same title within five minutes of each other. Did you also masturbate left handed around 6:30 AM?

Ya know, this old earth is going to do what it will do. Ice ages and long periods of heat have been going on around here for a long time. Somehow, I can't see that we make THAT much of an impact. I am for staying "green", but if mother earth decides to shake it up a bit and swallow me whole, well, so much for that!
We have been lucky enough not to get what the rest of the country is getting. I lived in the great white north for 30 yrs. Ain't missing it much!
