Top 5 Singles of 2008

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Top 5 Singles of 2008

Postby Scouser » Fri Dec 12, 2008 6:47 am

1) Devils Crayon - Wild Beasts
2) Sex On Fire - Kings Of Leon
3) Human - The Killers
4) A Punk - Vampire Weekend
5) Geraldine - Glasvegas

Non-ironic brilliant pop moment single of the year -

Womanizer - Britney Spears
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

I prefer this version:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pVT7ZNnq3as&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pVT7ZNnq3as&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I usually hate Chris Moyles but that version is very funny

So many haters, I think he's very good at what he does and he keeps me amused on the way to work.

Good choice on #2. The entire Kings of Leon CD is great!

I'm a little late to the party but the new Deerhunter album is great stuff.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I don't hold with all this modern musical nonsense, I'm going to dig out my Hawkwind cds and play them all day in the car as a protest. That'll show 'em!

This is going to turn into a new youtube obsession - You have shown me one of the main influences of Spinal Tap.
