I dont mind Russell Brand - he's got a quite twisted, surreal humour to his stand up and the way he would simultaneously take the piss out of / play up to the evicted no marks on BB bordered on genius.

Jonathon Ross is a complete dick. His "chat show" should be called "Friday Ego With Jonathon Ross" and should have ME ME ME in big letters as a backdrop. When he gets some female Hollywood A lister on it just makes me cringe, pay me £18 million to make lewd remarks that are basically "ooooh, i'd like to shag you".

Bring back Parky - he was worth the money.

To be honest I don't really care that much about either Russell Brand or Jonathan Ross, but I do care about how The Daily Mail has now suddenly became the voice of the nation.

Two guys crack a bad joke that backfires, big WOW...... There is 5 Complaints 6 days after the show, Daily Mail then run a front page story on it next minute there is no 30,000 compliants, 29,995 from people who never actually listened to the show, screaming I want a bandwagon let me jump on it !!!!!!!!!

Brand and the Controller of Radio 2 Resign and Ross is suspended..... Byt they are not the main victims. The VICTIM is decent BBC comedy the Daily Mail today attacked "Mock The Week" for jokes about the Queen and I can beat many more show will now be fair gane for them...... Soon BBC Comey will be "Last Of The Summer Wine" and "Two Pints..." ie.... Crap !!!!!

Rant Over....................... Opps forgot to mention the poor victim who has since sold he sex stories to The Sun and her poor grandad will be able to now watch the Lesbian Porn movies his grand daughter starred in......

I agree about the knee jerk Daily Mail response. But that doesnt mask the fact that Ross is an overpaid buffoon. This is the guy who said "I am woth 1,000 BBC journalists" (I can only imagine the feelings of resentment from someone crouched in a bunker in Afghanistan).

I was about to make exactly the same post. A lot of the humour with Ross and Brand is that they act like a pair of sex cases (a poxy one in the case of Brand-I know women like a bit of rough but honestly...) the real issue is how the Daily Mail is becoming the government of this country and imposing it's right wing agenda on the land with the help of craven politicians.

Ross does have some talent and puts good bands on his show (except for the house band)

I wish the BBC would address a real issue such as why it has ruined it's HD service with a Digital On Screen Graphic-I would rather watch the standard service than watch HD with a DOG. Particularly if they think I am going to pay their licence fee (not until they correct this self imposed technical defect in their broadcast.) And they are welcome to send a debt collector (his death will achieve publicity for my protest)

I'm surprised 35,000 people read the Daily Mail that carefully to feel some kind of desire to then phone up to complain. Iv'e only ever seen people reading dumped copies on trains.

Anybody remember Mark Wootton on, ironically, Woss's Friday night show a few years back when he appeared as Shirley Ghostman. Had a show on BBC Three at the time that had started on BBC2. Wootton did gags about Jews and cancer patients and attracted 350 complaints. BBC was forced to apologise, while Wootton's show was axed.
