The multiple farewell tours have worked well for The Damned (who are still great live by the way).

i hope they never do that. even though those bands you mentioned seem to keep touring multiple times, its still sort of implying that they may NOT do it anymore.... and i need my bunnymen fix!!! no final tours. no farewell tours. just plain old happy fangirl tours playing the smaller more intimate places is good enough for me. :biggrin:

Excellent. A few more chances for them to wend their way out to L.A. again. And if King Taco won't do the luring, perhaps a Pinks hotdog or two would?

I don't know if they could fill the Bowl, but it would be a fun place to see them. Maybe the Greek or the Anson Ford instead. A little smaller, but still that outdoors experience.

There's also the Anson Williams Amphitheatre.

It's definitely a smaller venue, but Anson's uncle Arty will come over and fire up the grill.
