Don't know how many of you read The Nation, but in case you missed it, the latest edition has an editorial addressed to the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee:

LOL are those the only two choices? By registration I am "Independent". My voting record in the last however many Presidential elections (for what it's worth):

-Perot
-Perot
-Harry Browne (?)
-Bush

In that most recent one, I decided my cutesy third-party cop-out wasn't going to cut the mustard, and I would have to "make a choice", if you know what I mean.

So, I'm not a staunch anything. I believe everyone considers themselves "free-thinking", don't they? I have always considered myself a libertarian, but not the nutty Ron Paul kind.

Interesting video by bitter Hillary supporters:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/u8t4PKGc2Fw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/u8t4PKGc2Fw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

At one point they even note that the Obama supporters have accused them of exactly what the Hillary supporters are accusing THEM of. (But they don't seem to realize what that most likely means...)

I see this as evidence of the phenomenon of the inability to fight political battles without truly believing the other side is composed of malicious lying evil thieves. Also, that one chick looks like the lady from Fargo, and I don't quite follow her opening story about the phone call. I like that Mighty Quin song, though.

Ahhh.. I see.

I noticed I was the only one whose political affiliation peaked your interest. Do you already know everyone else's?

We don't have to register party affiliation in Washington State. I do vote Democrat mostly. However, I'm more concerned with local issues and races more than national. By the time any politician gets to DC, he/she is corrupt to an extent. It's all just a matter of degree of corruption, and who owns him/her.

Perot was the shit the first time he ran for president. He has substantial flaws but anyone who helps out veterans and their families the way he has is okay by me.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
