Echo And The Bunnymen are proad to announce that Glassvegas will be
the support act at the New York Ocean Rain concert.


Oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am as excited about the opening band as the headliner!!!!

i must be the only person that hasn't heard of Glasvegas, by the looks of it.

newish Scottish band... very early Jesus and Mary Chain-like with the heavy accents and "oh oh oh" Ramones/Ronnetes thing

I downloaded some songs and was listening to them in the car and my youngest daughter asked if they were singing in Spanish :lol:

yeah, after listening to the youtube stuff i told shaz i thought they sounded like a mixture of J&MC, Bono w/a Scottish accent, and a bunch of oldies from the 60's! (not that any of that's bad!) :lol:

:lol: they do have a very heavy Scottish accent......but that's cool. looking forward to seeing them. i'm SO glad we aren't getting stuck with some no name local band!
